Hi everyone,

It’s been another 30 days since I’ve updated the page, and I again apologize to those of you that have relied on the website for updated information.  I have been having a hard time being motivated to do anything with the website, either to keep it running or to take it down.  In other words, I am in website limbo.  I like that it has provided information for people over the years, and I am grateful to have been a conduit of current info on people's shows, personal endeavors, and causes.  However, I have been spending an enormous amount of time sourcing material for my classes, and that has taken up my interest in the past several weeks.

To that end, my classes are going great.  The students are learning a lot, they are having a good time and are enjoying the process.  If any of you are interested in checking out my class you are welcome to audit on any Monday night to see what it is that I do, and what people get from participating.  I love teaching at Schoolcreative, because one thing I have learned from facilitating at the drop in is that I love working with actors and seeing them change and grow in and out of the industry.  So, come down to Schoolcreative and speak with Kirsten if you are interested in my classes or any of the classes available at the school.  It's developing quite a good reputation for putting out a good product.

I stopped by the past drop in session, and I noticed the numbers are down considerably.  I chalk this up to growing pains.  It is different there without me, I know, and without being arrogant about it I know I brought an energy to the room when I was running it.  But give Diana and Drew time to find their legs, and more importantly, give them feedback on what you would like to see, how you feel they can make it better to accommodate your needs in the is community.  It isn't a community without you and your input.  I did my best to listen to people's concerns and endeavored to incorporate many of the suggestions to support the group dynamic.  I think it's important for you to let them know if something isn't working for you and ask if they would be willing to implement some changes on your behalf.

Lastly, I do miss you all, I think about you all often, and I am grateful that I had a hand in your growth and evolution.  It's not easy holding the space like this (even though to some it looked like it was), it takes time to develop and groove, and create a following, of which I am grateful again for that so many of you trusted me to hold the space.  Here's something I am going to promise though: at some point in the future I will guest facilitate an evening, with Drew and Diana's blessing of course, since I have turned the reins over to them officially.

Anyway, I hope it's been a good month for you all, and remember that Mercury is retrograde until July or so, so slow down, clean up past communications, and hold on until it goes direct and then things will start to really roll out.  I'll post the front page again in a month or so, in the mean time I will do better at updating the event postings.

Cheers

Henry J Mah
